Home Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Homecare Assistant to join our team and deliver exceptional in-home care services to our clients. Tasks:

• Provide personal care support, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring dignity and respect at all times
• Assist clients with mobility needs, helping them move safely around their home and supporting independence
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment
• Support with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met and accommodating any dietary restrictions
• Offer emotional support and companionship, fostering positive relationships and promoting mental well-being
• Develop and follow tailored care plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate records of care provided, incidents, and any changes in client condition, and communicate effectively with team members and families

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in homecare or a similar caregiving role
• Proficiency in using IT systems for record-keeping and communication
• A valid UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle for client visits
• Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate empathy, and handle sensitive situations with discretion
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to meet client needs
